A very resource agradável recently arrived on Google Keep and allows you to create personalized notes with artistic backgrounds created by the company itself. These are simple themes that work well with the existing color tones and can be accompanied by photos, free drawings and audio, giving an even greater ingredient in customization.
Google Keep allows you to quickly save your ideas, with notes, lists, photos, etc. and works within the Google ecosystem, with the function of synchronizing content between devices. The app is available on Android, on iOS, at Chrome and can also be accessed through the browser.
Colorful Themes and Google Designs
Creating a note with a colored background is very simple. Just click on the color palette icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Some shades are lighter than others and, depending on the color selected, you may have a little difficulty reading the text, which uses black font (there is no way to change it).
The designs that have arrived to help you customize your Google Keep notes, as we mentioned above, are soft and themed. To choose one, you follow the same path you take to choose the background color, by clicking on the palette.
Photo, drawing, voice and checkboxes
You can also choose a photo to personalize the note with an image, along with the chosen theme. To do this, simply click on the icon with the “+” sign in the left corner, next to the color palette icon. If this is the first time you are inserting the image, the Google Keep app will ask for access to your library. You can also add a photo taken at the time with the camera phone.
If you don't want to include a photo and would rather draw something right there, that's also possible. The process is the same as when inserting a photo, by clicking on the "+" sign. In fact, the background of a note in Google Keep can be customized with just a solid color, with one of the app's designs, with a photo, with a drawing, or with all of them together. When you choose a solid color with a theme, it will be highlighted.
By clicking on the “+” sign, you will also find an option to create a voice note and there is an option to insert checkboxes, which can be marked as a check to organize multiple tasks in a single note. All of these features can be activated both when creating a note and when adding to an existing note.
Setting reminder
Once you have created a note, you can set a date and time as an alarm for your synced devices to remind you. You can also set a location for the app to notify you using your geolocation. For example, if you are near the place where you buy groceries for your pet cat, your phone will let you know that you can take advantage of it and buy some food right away. To set the reminder, simply tap the bell located in the top right corner of the screen and select the desired option.
Additionally, you can delete or make a copy of the note, share it on Google Docs or other apps (like WhatsApp), and even add collaborators. For example, by entering the person's email or adding your group. familiar from Google so that someone in the house who is there can already take the task of buying food for the cat. Another interesting feature is the markers, where you can define what type of note is being recorded (shopping, work, studies, family, etc.). These features are in the three dots located on the right side of the app screen.
As we have seen, there is no secret to customizing a note in Google Keep, as the app is intuitive and simple. You can find even more details about this Google tool in our May article, clicking here. Despite its simplicity, the app is quite powerful, being one of the best for record notes and indicated for increase your efficiency in studies and in home-office.
