All about the best cell phones

Redmi, Xiaomi's mobile phone brand, is very close to launching its first mobile phone aimed at gamers. According to two posts published on the Chinese social network Weibo, the Redmi Game Phone (which will not be the official name of the flagship) will be a true flagship, with cutting-edge configurations.

Among the main expected features are MediaTek's top-of-the-line chipset, the Dimensity 1200, formed by an Ultra Cortex-A78 core (with a frequency of 3 GHz), three Super Cortex-A78 cores (with a frequency of 2,6 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores (2 GHz). In addition, the smartphone should have an OLED panel, with a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a 5000 mAh battery, with 65W fast charging, to not leave any gamer in the lurch.

The confirmation of the launch of a gaming phone in 2021 is, in fact, the fulfillment of a promise made by Lu Weibing, CEO of Redmi. At the beginning of the year, the brand's executive gave the letter of what was to come: “In 2021, Redmi will focus on eSports and launch the brand’s first gaming flagship. We will launch a flagship that will transform the eSports experience. And at a price that cannot be refused.”

Powerful partnership

Redmi's entry into the gamer segment will also provide an extra incentive for those interested in learning more about the brand's first smartphone aimed at this audience. This is the company's partnership with Call of Duty Mobile Games, a manufacturer of one of the most highly regarded titles, both for mobile and other consoles.

Public Relations

O Call of Duty will share the spotlight with Redmi's gaming phone when the official announcement is finally made, but no further details have been revealed about what benefits users will get from this partnership. The gaming smartphone should have as one of its novelties the accessories called external buttons (also planned for the Redmi K40), which enhance gameplay, especially in shooting games. The speculated price for the smartphone is 2.500 yuan, equivalent to R$2.190 (without taxes or fees). Are you excited for Redmi's first gaming smartphone?
