Two leaks may have revealed new details about the layout of the iPad Pro 2021 in 12,9-inch and 11-inch versions. The possible new versions of the tablets from Apple were shown in videos and rendered photos made by the Pigtou website. Both models maintain practically the same size as the last version launched in 2020, which is important to maintain compatibility with accessories.

12,9 Inch iPad Pro

12,9 iPad Pro is smaller, but not by much

The 12,9-inch model is a bit smaller than last year's, but not by much. So accessories from the previous model should still be compatible. According to This post, the new iPad Pro has a system with four speakers. The screen is the same size, of course. Check out the video of the possible new iPad Pro 12,9 made by Pigtou.

11-inch iPad Pro is exactly the same size

The images were created by pigto in collaboration with David (Xleaks), and show an animation based on the device's rendered files. At first glance, the video doesn't show any major changes compared to the current generation iPad Pro. However, when looking at the details, it is possible to find subtle changes, such as new audio outputs that indicate a system with four speakers.

The current iPad Pro has 17 audio holes on each side of the USB-C port, while this version has 15 holes on one side and 20 on the other. According to Pigtou, this could indicate a reallocation of internal component space in search of audio improvements.

Despite the change in screen, the fact that the device has the same dimensions as its predecessor may result in compatibility with accessories such as the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 2. Check out the video below:

Rumors indicate OLED screen and biometric sensor

In addition to the renders, other rumors about the iPad Pro 2021 have been emerging in recent weeks. The technology website MySmartPrice It also released rendering images of the device that show the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the side button of the device.

The evidence that the Apple would be leaving facial recognition to adopt biometrics on the iPad Pro also appear in the video released by Pigtou, with images that include the same layout of the button presented previously.

Furthermore, information obtained from reports from a Chinese supplier suggests that the device will have OLED screen and not Mini-LED, as some informants suggested.

Os latest supplier orders made by Apple indicate a considerable increase in devices with the 5G technology, in 2021. So we can bet that the new iPad will have connection compatibility.

The new 12,9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pros are expected to launch at WWDC 2021, which is expected to take place between May and June this year. The date is slightly later than the reveal of their predecessors in March 2020.

On the other hand, the delay may also be related to Covid-19 pandemic which delayed much of the smartphone production last year, whose consequences impact the market so far.
