Images released of the Honor 30 Pro

The first image shows the Honor 30 Pro's quad camera setup, which will feature a 50-megapixel main shooter, possibly equipped with Sony's IMX 700 sensor. In addition, we can see the periscope lens and two other sensors, which have not yet been revealed.

The specifications have been leaked on the devices' pages on Teena (China's telecommunications regulator). Both the Honor 30 and the Pro version will have a 6,7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. They will also have a 32-megapixel front camera.

The processor should be the Kirin 990 5G, which is the same as the P40 line from Huawei. The battery of both is 3900 mAh. The 30 Pro model should have versions with 8 and 12 GB of RAM with a capacity of up to 256 GB, while the Honor 30 should only have 8 GB of RAM. In addition, another difference between the two models is that the cheaper one should have a 40 megapixel camera.

These two photos are indications that the smartphone will likely have a specific mode for taking photos of the Moon. This is a feature that was first introduced on Huawei's P30 Pro.

Honor is a Huawei company, so the new devices are unlikely to feature Google services. The Honor 30 series is scheduled to launch on April 15.
