iPhone 15: Apple confirms event in September to announce news
The date for the launch of the new line of iPhones is set: Apple enviou convites à imprensa confirmando um evento agendado para o dia 12 de setembro
The date for the launch of the new line of iPhones is set: Apple sent out press invitations confirming an event scheduled for September 12. The main highlight will be the arrival of the series iPhone 15, but other product updates from the company are also expected.
The traditional headquarters of Apple in Cupertino, USA, will be the location of the event, scheduled to start at 14 pm (Brasília time).
The star will be on the iPhone 15
The central attraction of the event is the next generation of iPhones. The Apple has plans to introduce at least 4 new smartphone models: the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
As has been the tradition in recent years, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are expected to share a similar design to the iPhone 14, with some modifications. The main innovation expected is the introduction of Dynamic Island, already introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro, which will replace the notch at the top of the screen.
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, on the other hand, are expected to receive more profound transformations, such as a titanium body, narrower bezels and more powerful cameras. A price increase is also expected compared to last year's models.
To top it off, all devices in the Apple must adopt a USB-C connector for recharging, abandoning the Lightning standard. In addition to complying with European Union regulations, this change should enable faster charging for new smartphones.
What else should be announced?
There are rumors indicating that at least one product line from Apple will be updated during the September 12 event: smartwatches Apple Watch.
The ninth generation, called Apple Watch Series 9 will likely be accompanied by a new model, the Apple Watch Ultra. However, no significant changes are expected in these smartwatches from the brand, leaving the big update for next year.
