iPad Pro to receive new generation chip and keyboard in 2024

A Apple is preparing for one of the most significant updates of the iPad Pro in recent years, bringing notable changes to the tablet. Although it is not planning to launch new models for the device in 2023, the company aims to introduce an iPad Pro packed with innovations in stores by 2024.

Mark Gurman, a journalist renowned for anticipating information from Apple, shared his predictions about the future of the iPad in his weekly newsletter. In recent years, updates to the iPad Pro have been low-key, but Gurman says the company is planning one of the most substantial improvements to the device since 2018.

The next-generation iPad Pro will be powered by an M3 processor, delivering a significant leap in power. Additionally, the Apple has plans to incorporate OLED screens into the tablet, a feature that has been present in iPhones since 2017.

Another exciting addition is the new Magic Keyboard, which will accompany the 2024 iPad Pro. This keyboard will feature a larger trackpad than the current one, aiming to offer a more laptop-like experience.

According to Gurman, the 2024 iPad Pro will be available in two sizes: 11 inches and 13 inches. Notably, the higher-end version of the tablet will be slightly larger than the current 12,9-inch model.

Gurman also reveals that the Apple has an event planned to announce new devices in September, but the iPad Pro will not be highlighted. The company plans to update its tablet lineup in the first half of next year.
