All about the best cell phones

Although some initiatives have existed for years, Directv Go was one of the first major companies in the IPTV market to popularize the sale of pay TV channels via the internet. There are apps for Android e iOS, and zero need to have a package with any cable operator. Seeing a great deal in this sales model, Claro is launching IPTV packages for Net Now too.

Until now, it was only possible to watch live channels via Net Now IPTV if the user had a pay TV package with Claro Net or Claro. In a recent update to the app, it became possible to purchase a plan that gives access to the entire linear grid (which does not include Telecine, HBO, and some others). The price is R$59,90 per month — R$10 less than the monthly Directv Go option.

Top Streaming

Called Top Streaming, Net Now's IPTV package can be subscribed to via the Android and iOS app. One caveat is that some regional open channels may not be available depending on the coverage area. In the same subscription menu, you can check the full channel grid.

The grid is similar to the Top HD plan sold for set-top boxes, but it is important to highlight that users who already have a TV package, if they purchase Top Streaming, will only have access to the new channels via streaming.

In addition to Top Streaming, you can also purchase add-ons such as Box Brazil Play, Curta On, Conmebol TV, Dog TV, Star Premium, Combate, and HBO. You can even purchase Looke, starz play, Paramount Plus and others — these with on-demand content instead of live signals.

Thus, Claro starts to sell IPTV through Net Now as it already does with Claro Streaming Box. It is a set-top box that does not require a coaxial cable signal, only internet connection is required. It is a way to eliminate the need for hardware to sell services — and compete with Directv Go in this segment.
