The popular game of battle royale, PUBG Mobile, will gain a partnership andspecial in its next update. This has happened before, but what is striking this time is that the new deal between Tencent, the game's producer, is not with any movie franchise or even any other game. In fact, PUBG Mobile will team up with electric car manufacturer Tesla.
Mission Ignition starts on July 9th and runs until early September. The event will obviously be related to cars. It will be possible to build a Tesla Model Y in the game on an assembly line that can appear randomly on the map.
“Mission Ignition includes dynamic elements such as elevators, automatic doors, moving platforms, HyperLines, an aerial conveyor and more. On the same day, the Tesla collaboration kicks off with the Tesla Gigafactory appearing on the map, allowing you to activate all the switches on the assembly lines to start car assembly and build a Tesla Model Y,” the event description reads.
New update
A update PUBG Mobile 1.5 Ignition is now available for download. The Tesla mode, however, should arrive in the next few days, without a specific date. The update file size is 686 MB on Android and around 1,64 GB on iOS.
Remembering that PUBG will have two versions soon: Mobile and New state, both for mobile devices. New State is expected to arrive in 2021. The story takes place in the year 2051, where anarchy and a war between factions take over the new battlefield. The game is based on the style of traditional PUBG Mobile, where survivors will have to fight on a map until the last player or team remains alive. On this map, survivors will be able to find weapons, vehicles and other items to gain an advantage in battle.
The update with Tesla, so far, is only for PUBG Mobile.
