This is a concern that is not limited to Samsung owners, but one that worries Google in general. The company that created Android has already stated a few times that it is working on partnership with Qualcomm, manufacturer of Snapdragon SoCs, so that the lifespan of the next generations of Android will be longer. The estimate is that the devices will be similar to the iPhone, whose longevity of support for iOS can exceed five years.
