Contrary to what was imagined when Samsung launched its cheap Galaxy M12 cell phone in Vietnam and India (in February and March of this year, respectively), it didn't take long for the device to arrive in Brazil. The South Korean manufacturer launched the M12 here today with a price slightly above average compared to what was launched in other markets. In Brazil, sales will be made exclusively online.

For those who don't remember, the Galaxy M12 is an entry-level device with basic configurations and an average design. The highlights of the smartphone are its powerful 5000 mAh battery and its rear module with four cameras.

Galaxy M12 Specifications

The version of the Galaxy M12 that arrived in Brazil follows the same camera configurations presented in the Vietnamese market. There is a main sensor with 48 MP, an ultra-wide lens with 5 MP and two cameras with 2 MP, a macro lens and another with a depth sensor. The device launched in India has a small variation in the capacity of each lens.

Other than that, the smartphone has an Exynos 850 processor running the Android 11 operating system and other specifications are the same as the models that arrived in other countries.

Here in Brazil, the Galaxy M12 comes, for now, with just one memory configuration: 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of storage, which can be expanded to 1 TB with a microSD card. Abroad, there are also options with 32 or 128 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM.

Availability in Brazil

The Galaxy M12 was launched here in three different colors: blue, black and green. The suggested price of the product is R$ 1.599, which is a big difference compared to the value in the Indian market, where it costs 10.999 rupees, or the equivalent of R$ 766 (in the version with less memory) or even the 170 Euros (around R$ 1.055) that it costs in Europe, but unfortunately this higher cost is something common in our market.

As already mentioned, sales will only be made online, through Samsung's own website or through partner retailers.
