All about the best cell phones

The communication apps market is very diverse and already we made a list involving several of those available in Brazil. Even Microsoft is trying to bet, again, on a domestic product redesigning Teams. And Google has been rolling out new features for Google Messages to make it more complete. In the future, the app should have an option to pin texts and complete conversations.

Who anticipates this update is the XDA Developers, which, through its developer collaborators, constantly discovers new features before they are released. The process uses reverse engineering, and thanks to this, it is possible to enable inactive sections of code in apps, which end up staying there — even if they are useless to the home user — as it facilitates testing by the companies' own engineers.

With this, it was discovered that Google Messages 8.1.050 is working on a pinning feature. At the moment, the option would allow you to pin up to three conversations, which may change before the official launch. This feature is already available on WhatsApp, Telegram, and others, for example. Particularly useful for highlighting those most relevant contacts in your day-to-day life.

Finally, still involving the pinning function, Google Messages is reportedly preparing to allow you to mark specific messages in conversations with a star. It is assumed that, in a submenu, all of them will be accessible, so that the user can consult routine information or information that they have decided to highlight for a variety of reasons.

These new features are not expected to arrive alone: another breakdown of Google Messages recently anticipated a series of tools in testing on the app. The Mountain View company is expected to make all of them official soon, but there is nothing stopping the company from reviewing some plans or postponing the update schedule. Still on the subject of messengers, WhatsApp has finally started allowing audio acceleration.
