Xiaomi returned to Brazil in 2019, and since then has focused on launching basic and mid-range smartphones. This, however, began to change with the launch of more advanced cell phones, like the Poco F3. Now, the company gives another sign that it intends to bring a more advanced portfolio: the flagship Mi 11 was approved in Brazil by Anatel.
With this, a bureaucratic step for the launch of the top of the line in Brazil has been overcome. The “base” model of the brand’s current generation of high-performance smartphones features Snapdragon 888, up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Its screen is 6,81 inches with Quad HD resolution, this on an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Other specifications of the Mi 11 also include a 108 MP main camera, ultra-wide and macro sensors. Those who follow Xiaomi know that the manufacturer wastes no time in launching variants. Therefore, the market already has the Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Lite, and the most advanced of them, the Mi 11 Ultra.
Mi 11 will be expensive in Brazil
Launched abroad at the equivalent of R$4.848 (direct conversion today, 26/05), it is expected that, in Brazil, the price of the Mi 11 will be even higher. Historically, models sold here are always available at much higher prices than the converted prices abroad, for reasons that involve everything from import logistics to local taxes.
It is worth remembering that the company recently also brought out the mid-range Redmi Note 10, 10S, and 10 Pro. These are mid-range devices that were nevertheless launched at prices up to R$ 3.399. Another Chinese company that has been launching — and approving devices — it's Realme, which has already launched the Realme 7, 7 Pro, and 7 5G here.
