All about the best cell phones

How about losing a bag, keychain, suitcase or other important item and along with it an AirTag valued at up to R$2,4? This has become possible thanks to a series of luxury accessories from Hermès for Apple's new tracker. The brand has always worked on accessories and even exclusive models of the Apple Watch for the Cupertino company, and of course, it wouldn't be left out of another hardware launch.

The fashion company has launched three loops and keychains for Tim Cook's newly launched tracker. The first one is ideal for keychains, and costs US$ 349 (R$ 1.868 in direct conversion today, 29/04). The most "affordable" one — a loop for bags — costs US$ 299 (R$ 1.601). The support for suitcases costs US$ 449 (R$ 2.404). Prices include the AirTags, which in Brazil cost R$ 369 (one) and R$ 1.249 (pack of four).Screenshot of Hermès' three luxury accessories for AirTags

The construction of the accessory, despite Hermès describing them as “products made from the skin of traditional Barenia Fawn lambs”, is animal leather. An association of Apple to a project that somewhat confronts its green ideals of zero carbon emissions by 2030, which included the radical measure to remove chargers and headphones from the iPhone box.

With the new iPad Pro arriving in Brazil at prices of up to R$ 30 thousand, it would certainly be interesting (or even fun) to follow the national pricing of Hermès' luxury accessories for AirTags here. For better or worse, Apple is not advertising them on its Brazilian page. However, bows and keychains manufactured by the company itself Apple are available for prices starting at R$379 and going up to R$499.

AirTags promise a one-year battery life

Used through the Find My app, the Cupertino company's AirTags — whether with luxury Hermès accessories or not — promise a battery life of up to a year. They are not rechargeable like Samsung's SmartTags. They are water resistant and can be customized with small engravings, such as emojis and numbers, in addition to these expensive covers that add more color to the product. Tests, however, reveal that the product scratches easily.

Unfortunately they are compatible only with iOS devices: the basic operation is that iPhones and iPads can receive small geolocation information from AirTags, anonymously, and can then exchange this data with other devices around until the owner of the tracker receives the information, and can finally discover where he left or lost an object.
