A “new” Xiaomi smartphone, the Mi 11X, is very close to hitting the Indian market, as the brand’s own executive in the country confirmed on his Twitter account. The quotation marks around the word new, however, are justifiable, as the model is nothing more than a rebranded Redmi K40. The main differences in relation to the model released in february, as can be seen in the tweet, are related to the colors of the Mi 11X.
While the Redmi K40 was launched in black, white and blue, the Mi 11X will come in Celestial Blue, Celestial Gold and Celestial Pink. “Which one did you like the most?” asked Manu Kamar Jain, asking his nearly 456 thousand followers to interact with him on the social network. It is worth remembering that, not long ago, the Redmi K40 was thought to be called Poco F3 globally, an idea that now seems to have been replaced by the guise of the future Xiaomi.
What will the Mi 11X look like?
According to the images posted, and taking as a basis Redmi K40 settings, we can expect the Mi 11X to have a 6,67-inch AMOLED screen, with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 20-megapixel selfie camera placed in the upper center of the screen.
The triple rear lenses should feature a 48-megapixel main sensor, which will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a third, macro, with a maximum resolution of 5 megapixels. They will be arranged vertically, along with an LED flash. The operating system promised is Android 11, which will be released working on the MIUI 12 interface.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi 11X, the Redmi K40's "twin brother", will have the Snapdragon 870, which will work together with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The latest information concerns the battery, which will be 4500 mAh, which may come with 33W fast charging.
