Facebook and Instagram went offline this Thursday (08/04), all over the world, including Brazil. Here, the instability began in the late afternoon and many users complained about the service going down. According to Facebook, the development teams are already working to stabilize the systems. The company did not go into details about what may have caused the outage. At the time this post was published, the service had already returned to several people, but not everyone.

According to user reports, Facebook and Instagram Some users are unstable and do not load their pages. Others, however, are able to access their profiles, but have trouble posting. In addition, WhatsApp also had its service interrupted this Thursday, but not in all countries.

It is no coincidence that Facebook’s failure quickly became a topic of discussion on other networks. On Twitter, for example, the subject is among the most talked about so far. Instagram’s own official account spoke out in a tweet that says: “Is your Instagram down? We know some people are having trouble right now. We are working on it and hope to have everything working smoothly as soon as possible.”

Some profiles took advantage of the fail to make memes, considering that the products of Facebook has already gone down other times in 2021.  Until the legendary ICQ got on board and made fun of Mark Zuckerberg's group:

However, the Facebook account did not comment on the case. There is no forecast for the return of services.
