All about the best cell phones

Motorola's new entry-level phone, which has been worked on under the codename Ibiza but is expected to be officially called the G50, has had its price leaked by a retailer in Spain this Friday (12/03). According to the announcement in Paratup, the G50 will be sold from 230 euros, equivalent to R$ 1.527 (in direct conversion, without considering the difference in the incidence of taxes or import fees).

The price in question refers to the entry-level Motorola Ibiza/G50. It would offer the user 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and would have under the hood the first input processor Qualcomm's 5G-ready Snapdragon 480. There's also a version in the works that will offer 6GB of RAM and the same internal storage, but pricing for this variant has not been announced yet.

More about the G50

The other configurations of the Motorola G50 were discoveries on the Geekbench platform, approximately a month ago, and have not yet been officially confirmed by the manufacturer, even though the smartphone is already listed on websites in Europe. They include, in addition to the aforementioned superior version, with 6 GB of RAM, the Android 11 operating system and the battery capacity, which will be 4850 mAh, with 20W fast charging.

The price of the G50/Ibiza and the leaked specifications indicate that the new Motorola model will arrive to fight for a space among entry-level cell phones. It will also offer the user an IPS LCD screen, with 720p+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, in addition to a 13-megapixel selfie camera and three lenses on the back, with 48 MP (main), 5 MP (wide-angle) and 2 MP (macro).
