All about the best cell phones

Officialized in February, the Moto G10 is about to launch in India as the Moto G10 Power, and in a stint at Geekbench, revealed that it is the same device. The big question about the launch is: why is Motorola renaming the device?

With very simple specifications, such as the Snapdragon 460 processor with 4 GB of RAM and the 6.5-inch screen with HD resolution, it doesn't seem to make much sense for Motorola to rename it Moto G10 Power, so the appeal may be in marketing. The phone's performance on Geekbench indicates that it won't even receive more RAM to justify the new name, so the decision — which may confuse those who follow the market in general — seems merely strategic. However, there's nothing stopping the manufacturer from making small improvements until the official launch.

As for the numbers obtained in the tests, no surprises: there were 244 points in the stress test of an isolated core, and 1.043 in the total stress of the device. Numbers in line with the performance of the Moto G10 on the same platform: 248 and 1111 respectively.

It's worth remembering that the Moto G10 has a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging, and despite the name, the Moto G10 Power should have exactly the same capacity and speed.

Brazil: still nothing

There is still no official date for it to be made official in India, but the announcement should happen this week according to several behind-the-scenes comments. Here in Brazil, there are no clues as to when Motorola will make official not only the Moto G10 (Power?) but also the G30, which has already been made official in Europe with it.

As you can see, the manufacturer's new strategy is in line with what Samsung has been promoting with the nomenclature of the Galaxy A line since 2019, where the numbering links the hierarchy between devices, with higher numbers representing phones with better performance. And well, we may have up to a Moto G100 this year.
