Organizing your iPhone and iPad desktop just got easier. After something that was already there all along. A “secret” iPhone feature has been revealed in a video on TikTok. It has been available for iOS for many years, but it seems that few people knew about it until now.
While many people arrange icons one by one, Kevin Benjis’ viral video shows that you can select multiple icons to be rearranged at the same time. For example, you’ve decided to move your productivity apps to a second screen. You don’t have to drag them one by one. Simply select the first one with one finger, and while you’re doing so, simply tap on all the others you want to move as well. This will rearrange the entire selected batch.

I'm sure many are discovering the secret (but not) iPhone function now, but it was implemented in iOS 11, in 2017, without any fanfare. If you use a smartphone from Apple, should have this feature available right now. It becomes particularly interesting in times when it has become possible to use widgets on the iPhone and iPad. iOS, by the way, advances to its version 14.5, with news for emojis.
This makes customization on iOS easier. On Android, it is not possible to operate with a similar command. Even so, it is worth remembering that for a long time, iPhones and iPads had very limited desktop configuration options. Widgets, for example, only arrived almost ten years after being implemented in Google's OS. In any case, today it is possible to give your own look to any of these mobile systems that form a true duopoly in the market.
