All about the best cell phones

Google may once again please fans of large smartphones with the new Pixel 6. Until the Pixel 4, it was common for the phone to be launched with an XL (huge) version, however, this did not happen in the Pixel 4a and not even 5. Now, new information about the Android 12 suggest the return of the larger models in the line.

The version of Google operating system developer comes with “Silky Home” mode, which makes icons larger for one-handed operation and pushes everything to the bottom of the screen. Android 12 will have the one-handed use feature natively.

This function, however, can be redundant, since most smartphones are not large enough for this to be useful and the large ones already come with their own one-handed command settings.

New features of Android 12

In any case, the inclusion of one-handed mode in Android 12 may have been included with an eye on a large version of the Pixel 6, which should return with the XL model. The same feature has already been seen in Samsung's One UI and OnePlus' OxygenOS, both customized versions of Android. Another news is that Android 12 There will be an option to combine fingerprint and facial recognition unlocking modes, instead of having to choose one over the other. This, of course, only makes sense on smartphones that have both sensors, and this is also one of the functions that could be implemented on the next Pixel, which did not come with a fingerprint on the screen in its previous versions.

The Google Pixel 6 and its larger version, the 6 XL, are not so close to being launched. The models are expected to hit stores at the end of 2021, the same time that, according to the schedule, Android 12 should be released. We should soon have more news about both the updated operating system and Google's new smartphones.
