Just a few days after the first specifications of the new Galaxy A52 fall into the net, now practically all the details of Samsung's future mid-range smartphone have been revealed. According to the German website WinFuture, the smartphone will hit the market in March with two variants – a simpler one, 4G, and another already prepared to work with 5G technology. This difference, in fact, will be one of the few found in the new Galaxy A52 models.
The different technology will mean that the 4G and 5G variants will have different prices. In Europe, the simplest model will start at 349 euros (R$2.277 in direct conversion, without taxes or fees), while the 5G will start at 429 euros (R$2.799, also without any taxes or fees). The 80 euro difference in price probably refers to the processors, which are different: Snapdragon 750G for the 5G, and Snapdragon 720G, also from Qualcomm, for the more affordable version. The last difference between them is the screen refresh rate: 90Hz for the 4G and 120Hz for the 5G.
Identical in other points
Having mentioned the differences above, the remaining configurations will be identical for the Galaxy A52 in its 4G and 5G versions. Both will be offered with 6 GB and 8 GB versions, paired with 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The battery will also be the same in both models – 4500 mAh, with 25W charging -, but without a wireless option. Both will also have Dual SIM and Android 11 operating system, running the Samsung One UI interface.
The Galaxy A52 will have a 6,5-inch SuperAMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and an optical reader. On the back, the quad camera setup will feature a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and two others for macro and depth effects, with 5 MP and 2 MP, respectively. The Galaxy A52 will have a headphone jack and, even so, it has been certified against water and dust (IP67). It will be available to consumers in four colors: black, blue, white, and lilac.
