Donald Trump Jr., the first son of the outgoing President of the United States, decided to join his father's fight (one of them, that is). After seeing the social network Speak, adopted by the extreme right, be blocked from the App Store and Play Store, chose billionaire Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, as an ally to save “free expression”.
In a video published on your Instagram account, Trump Jr. suggested to Elon Musk that he create his own social network. In this way, according to the line of reasoning of the son of the President of the United States, people could express themselves without fearing “censorship”, something that, in his view, has been happening with sequential blocking – and banning – of Trump’s accounts and your followers on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and other social networks.
“If anyone can make it happen, I think he can. If Elon Musk can send people into space in secret, I’m sure he can create a social network that isn’t biased,” he said. “I think a lot of Americans would love that and support it wholeheartedly,” Donald Trump Jr. added, publicly calling on Musk to help create a new social network.
Musk hits back at Parler ban
Earlier this week, shortly after suggesting to his millions of followers that switch from WhatsApp to Signal, Musk took to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction:

“Many people will be unhappy to see West Coast high-tech acting as the de facto arbiter of free speech,” he posted, in response to a report on the website baby bee.
Musk, usually a loose-lipped man, was a bit on top of the wall in the last elections. He gave no indication that, despite his criticism of Silicon Valley, he has in mind the creation of a social network that meets the demands of the Republican family and is, according to Trump Jr., better than Twitter. Which “is a social network that takes care of hate speech and calls for violence with real neutral referees and fact-checkers.”
