With Qualcomm's new processor, the iQOO 7 has been launched, featuring much more than just the Snapdragon 888 as its highlight. Vivo's flagship gaming smartphone, which has been officially launched in China, comes with 120-watt fast charging and other improvements.

The iQOO 7 is launching with the OriginOS interface, announced in November for succeed the FunTouchOS interface. Also based on Android 11, OriginOs brings, among other things, more direct notifications, multitasking windows and grid organization on the desktop.

To fully exploit the performance of the Snapdragon 888 SoC, the smartphone comes with special performance tuning options for games. Speaking of the screen, it has HDR10+ support with FullHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The central hole at the top is where its 16MP front camera is located. There is also an in-display fingerprint reader.

The rectangular rear camera module sits at the top of the iQOO 7, on the left. It has an optical image stabilizer, with up to 20x digital zoom and 4K video recording. There is a 48 MP primary camera and two 13 MP sensors in the launch from Chinese manufacturer Vivo.

To support 120Hz charging, two separate 2.000mAh cells add up to the smartphone's 4.000mAh battery. The iQOO 7 launched today can charge from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.

In addition to 5G technology, the device has Wi-Fi 6, 4G LTE, Dual-SIM support, Hi-Res Audio, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC and Type-C port. The three colors available are light blue, black and there is a BMW branded version, blank.

Pre-sales of the devices have already begun in China and official sales are expected to begin next Friday (15/01). Prices in reais, without taxes or fees, are currently (11/01) around R$3.221 for models with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage and R$3.561 for devices with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
