For this year, Samsung has just announced the introduction of a remote control with a solar panel, which can be charged with natural or artificial light, as well as via a USB-C cable, thus eliminating the need for disposable batteries. The solar Eco Remote Control will come with Samsung QLED 4K and 8K T TVs sold this year.

Samsung's sleek solar remote is made from 28 percent recycled polyethylene terephthalate, and according to the company, a single charge can last up to two years.

In addition to the solar remote control, Samsung has announced the arrival of TVs that will be smaller versions of the gigantic modular display The Wall, 110 inches, announced some time ago. Like The Wall, the new TVs use micro LED technology, but do not need to be installed by a professional. The new sets will be 88 and 99 inches, that is, the smaller size is already over 2,20 meters wide.

In addition to the new micro LED technology, the new TVs feature a Micro AI processor, which they described as a system that uses artificial intelligence to track objects and direct sound correctly.

Now, if you're waiting to get your hands on one of these Samsung screens, you'd better have some money saved up. The company hasn't revealed the prices for its new TVs, but considering a press release from ZDNet, The Wall should cost around $160, which is currently around R$886. The smaller versions should be only slightly more affordable.
