Os intermediate smartphones from Chinese manufacturer OnePlus, models Nord N10 and Nord N100 already have a launch date set in the USA and Canada: on January 15th through OnePlus.com (Pre-orders open January 8th).

The much more affordable models were launched in Europe at the end of last year, with the Nord N10 being the more advanced of the two and expected to cost US$299,99 (R$1.590). The Nord N100 will cost US$179,99 (R$954).

Differences between models

The smartphones will be sold exclusively by T-Mobile under a contracted plan or unlocked by OnePlus.com and other operators.

The OnePlus Nord10, launched in the US, comes with 5G, Snapdragon 690 processor with 6 GB of RAM. Storage is 128 GB (microSD up to 512 GB), 4300 mAh battery with 30-watt fast charging, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, dual speakers and rear fingerprint reader. The 6,49-inch LCD screen has FullHD resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

As for the camera set, it is quadruple, with the main sensor being 64 MP. The lenses are ultra-wide, a macro lens and another special monochrome lens for depth of field. The front camera has 16 MP.

The Nord N100 is a much simpler phone, considering the price difference between the models. It comes with a Snapdragon 460 chipset, a 6,52-inch HD LCD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with a microSD slot (up to 256GB), a 5000mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging, Bluetooth 5.0, dual speakers, and a rear fingerprint reader.

The camera setup is triple, with the rear having a 13 MP main sensor with secondary bokeh and macro lenses and the front camera having 8 MP. Both models have a 3,5 mm headphone input.

OnePlus has confirmed that the new models will only have one update of Android, jumping from 10, with the OxygenOS 10.5 interface, already installed at the factory, to Android 11.

For now, none of the models are expected to be sold in Brazil.
