Xiaomi presented this Thursday (17/12) in India the Redmi 9 Power, an alternative version of the Redmi Note 9 4G launched in China. The specifications of the new smartphone are similar to its Chinese sibling.
True to its name, the phone's main highlight is its high-capacity 6000 mAh battery. It is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. In addition, the Redmi 9 Power comes with a 6,53-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, a fingerprint sensor with support for face unlock, a dedicated microSD card slot, and a 3,5 mm headphone jack.

Evolution in the camera
Just like already published in Vida Celular, the Redmi 9 Power comes with a quad rear camera – the main evolution of the new device, including in relation to the Note 9 4G. The main lens has a resolution of 48 MP. The other three are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide (with a 120º field of view), a 2 MP depth sensor for bokeh effects in portrait mode and a 2-megapixel macro for detailed and close-up photos. The front camera uses an 8 MP lens.

The device also stands out for remaining active for two days with moderate use and five with light use. In standby mode, Xiaomi promises up to 20 days of activity. For the 6000 mAh battery, we have a 22,5 W charger in the box, but fast charging only works up to 18 W with the USB-C interface.
O Redmi 9 power was launched in the Indian market in two price points: the 64 GB model costs 11 rupees (around $760) and the 128 GB model costs 12 rupees ($830). The smartphone comes in three color options: black, blue, red and green.
