Google was down this Monday (14/12) for most users. The instability on the company's servers affected services such as YouTube, Gmail, G Suite and others.

Part of the internet went down on Monday due to the instability of Google's services. Around 9 am (Brasília time), users began reporting on Twitter that YouTube and Gmail were down. Then it was confirmed that Big G's services had been paralyzed on a global scale.

At around 9:30 am, the service was partially restored, but users still report difficulties in accessing contacts and carrying out Gmail operations.

It is estimated that in the first hour of the crash alone, in the United Kingdom alone, Google received around 19 complaints about service instability.

It is worth remembering that in addition to the best-known services such as Google, Gmail and YouTube, the company also has G Suite, a corporate solutions platform similar to Office that is used by many companies. Therefore, if the service remains offline, it could ruin the beginning of the week for many people.

SMS sending failures

Monday's problems weren't the only ones Google has faced recently. According to the The Verge, Android device users also reported failures and difficulties in sending and receiving SMS messages, on the 10th, in the United States. Exchanging text messages is still very popular in the country.

So far, Google has not disclosed what caused the instability or how long its services will be down.
