All about the best cell phones

Samsung TV Plus is a free streaming app that was originally developed for the company's line of Smart TVs. Fortunately, Samsung decided to make the service available on a handful of Galaxy phones earlier this year. Now, the app is coming to even more devices.

Starting today (23/11), Samsung TV Plus will be launched for the Galaxy z fold 2, Galaxy z flip and Galaxy fold original. Additionally, it is also worth mentioning that the service is coming to the Galaxy A series, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9. This means that almost all recent mid-range and high-end Samsung phones will have access to the Samsung TV Plus service.

What does Samsung's free TV service offer?

Despite the expanded availability on smartphones, little is changing with Samsung TV Plus. There are now more than 150 channels, but they’re a mix of networks that mirror traditional cable channels (like CBSN or Bloomberg) and looping playlists of various shows (like the Kitchen Nightmares channel). Still, Galaxy device owners can find some content worth watching there.

What about Brazil?

We asked Samsung Brazil when the service will be available in the country. However, the answer was short, dry, quick and emphatic: the service is not yet available in the country and there is also no forecast for its arrival.
