All about the best cell phones

Last week, the Huawei held a conference to present the Chinese version of the Mate 40 to the world. Alongside the smartphone, it was presented an expected innovation in mobile memory. The company's CEO Richard Yu revealed a new memory expansion technology for the Mate 40.

The feature uses dynamic data compression, memory card fusion and other improvements. According to Huawei, systems with 8 GB are now equivalent to 10 GB, and the same applies to models with 12 GB, which are now equivalent to 14 GB.

The expansion is therefore virtual. Richard Yu claimed that the process is a positive result of these technologies used, which increased the cache while the operating system was running some apps. Furthermore, the new expanded memory also presented a 50% increase in performance.

The Mate 40's new memory expansion will also be available in the Pro and Pro+ versions. The design variation between each is small, but the features represent significant improvements in camera performance and quality.

The OLED screen of the devices is 6,5 inches and has a resolution of 2376×1080 pixels. Cell phones will be launched with processor Kirin 9000, which outperforms the Snapdragon 865 (the one from the respectable Galaxy S20 Fan Edition) in processing capacity. In addition, the models have advanced cameras and the Pro + can reduce deformations caused by the lenses, with the ability to film in 4k with 20 megapixels.
