A 120-watt charger from Xiaomi has been certified by 3C (China Compulsory Certification), and so its launch should be imminent.

The charger appears as model MDY-12-ED, but aside from the 120-watt speed, the 3C description doesn't give any other details or clues about it.

The charger is believed to be launched with Xiaomi's top-of-the-line smartphones, such as the upcoming Mi Mix line devices, possibly the Mi Mix 4, or perhaps in the next Mi Mix Alpha.

If this news is confirmed, this will be a big leap in relation to the Mi Turbo Charge launched last year, with 30-watt charging. Xiaomi also has a 65-watt charger, but suspended its sales in April this year due to a vulnerability.

It is worth remembering that Vivo Global talked about a charger 120 Watt Super FlashCharge in 2019, but it ended up not being released until now.

Additionally, also last year, Xiaomi made a demonstration of its 100-watt charger, which could charge a 4000 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just 17 minutes, which was already quite impressive.
