The gamer smartphone Red magic 5g Nubia has gained a transparent edition, which is already on pre-sale in China. Despite the name and the beautiful look, the smartphone is unfortunately not really transparent.

In fact, it has a sticker applied to the inside of the protective glass on the back cover showing where the components are, that is, it looks nice, but the name is nothing more than misleading advertising.

In addition to this simulated transparency, the Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition has the same specifications as the normal Red Magic 5G that was launched last month.

The Snapdragon 865 processor with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.0 flash memory. Nubia had also promised a 16 GB version, but it has not yet been released.

The 6,65-inch AMOLED display has Full HD+ resolution (2340 × 1080 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate. The front camera is 8 megapixels, with F/2.0 aperture. The fingerprint sensor is under the screen.

The main camera is triple, with a 64-megapixel main camera with F/1.8 aperture. In addition, it has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera (F/2.0) and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

The cooling system has an integrated fan, and the teaser video even shows it working, but apparently, this is just a marketing trick.

The 4500 mAh battery has 55-watt fast charging. It is 9,8 mm thick and weighs 218 grams. The Red Magic 5G runs Android 10 with the Redmagic 3.0 interface.

This special edition of Nubia's smartphone is on pre-sale in China for 4599 Yuan, or around R$3694 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of capacity.
