Another one for Google's interface changes account: the YouTube is testing new layouts for its Android app, adding what appears to be a quick reply box to video comments. Until now, the latest design only displayed the most-voted comment, favoring the list of featured videos — and, of course, related ads.
Now, YouTube is testing different layouts in the new update. One of them already highlights the comment field right below the box. The other inserts the option to “see all comments” right next to the comment field. Apparently, other small variations are arriving on parallel servers to users, to later determine what the final design will be.

Initially, the application directly displayed the comments section of the playing video, prioritizing the exchanging insults interaction between users. Eventually, YouTube began to prioritize content, placing a notice at the end of the scrolling, notifying that the message box had moved. Today, the section expands from the most voted comment.
It remains to be seen how these changes will impact comments on the YouTube app. The company is still suffering from a flood of gratuitous insults among its users, and is even asking them to lower the ball. However, users remain free to exchange rudeness and transform the free realm of discussion into fertile ground for bullying and hate speech – which makes the comments box become unavailable for children.
