After launching 6 packs of stickers, including the Cactus Woman, Facebook's messaging app, is preparing yet another new feature. Soon, WhatsApp will gain a sticker search feature. This new feature that promises to make users' lives easier will be available on Android and iOS smartphones. For now, this update has not reached users, but a video posted on YouTube revealed a preview of how it will work.
According to the video, the feature works by searching for the first word typed by the user (as if they were sending a normal message). So, if the word matches the stickers available in your gallery, you can choose them very quickly. For example, when you type the word “Love”, the app suggests stickers with hearts or characters in love. In the screenshot below taken by WABetaInfo, you can see that the sticker icon changes when you find the suggestions, check it out:

According to information gathered by the website, in tests, the tool only works with official WhatsApp stickers. For now, stickers created by other apps and developers are not compatible, but the WhatsApp team is working on implementing this new function for stickers created in third-party apps. Check out the video below that shows this new feature in action:
It has not yet been announced whether this new feature that makes it easier to search for stickers will also be available on WhatsApp Web (we hope so). It is worth mentioning that this feature does not yet have a set release date, but both Android and iOS users will be able to use this tool.
