While the manufacturer is already preparing the first cell phone of this new era, images of the Honor V40 Light leaked on the internet, and not by chance, it looks a lot like another smartphone from the former owner, Huawei.
The person responsible for the leak is the profile Changan Digital King from Weibo. According to the images, the Chinese social network user took the photos with the new phone in his hands in a physical store. From what we can see, the so-called Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition by the leakster, which should hit the market only as the Honor V40 Lite, is very similar to the model Huawei Nova 8.

The new Honor V40 Lite appeared in the leak in two colors, an iridescent version and another in a shade of green with a mirrored finish that refracts light, forming rays on the surface of the device. Another visible point that works as a striking element is the space for the cameras. The oval structure that houses four cameras is what makes this cell phone so different from the family Honor V40, and closer to the Huawei Nova 8 (featured image).
As for the specifications, the new phone should have a MediaTek 800U processor, with a 3800 mAh battery and a 66W super-fast charger. The screen should have a 90Hz refresh rate. If it is the same size as the Nova 8, the screen will be 6,57 inches.
The Honor V40 Lite will be officially launched on March 23rd and is expected to be priced lower than the Honor V03's 3.999 yuan ($3.460). Now we just have to wait for the official confirmation on that date.
