Facia some time that we had no news about cell phones TCL and the company itself. Helping to change the situation, the German website Technik News has just leak the specs of two models from the company's new lineup, the TCL 20L and the 20 Pro 5G. Both are more robust and will likely be more expensive than smartphones already announced from the TCL 20 line, despite its strategy of smartphones with good value for money and affordable prices.
Leaked technical specifications
According to the leak, the TCL 20L, the simplest smartphone between the two, has a 6,67-inch IPS LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 16 MP front camera. The TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a 6,67-inch screen, but it's OLED and not LCD, which gives even more quality to the images displayed. In addition, it has a 32 MP front camera. Another common factor between the devices' screens is the fact that they are Full HD+, that is, with a resolution above 1920x1080.

The processor chosen for the TCL 20L is the Snapdragon 662, present in the Oppo F19 recently launched, with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The Pro version, however, has the Snapdragon 750G, also with 6 GB of RAM, but with 256 GB of storage capacity. To reduce the difference in internal memory between them, however, both can be expanded via microSD card of up to 1 TB. Obviously, because of the name, the TCL 20 Pro 5G supports 5G technology, while the TCL 20L does not.
Regarding the rear cameras of the devices, both have a quad-camera system, but with some differences. The more expensive model has a 48 MP main camera, a 16 MP ultra-wide camera, a 5 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The more basic model, in turn, despite keeping the 48 MP main camera, has an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and two 2 MP cameras, one macro and one depth.

TCL 20L battery is bigger than 20 Pro
One interesting thing, however, when comparing the two phones, is that the TCL 20L's battery is slightly larger than the TCL 20 Pro 5G's battery, with 5000 mAh and 4500 mAh, respectively. But this may not actually be a problem, because the Pro model's processor is more efficient in consuming and maintaining the battery charge.
According to the website, the models will finally be properly presented next week, on April 14th. While the TCL 20 Pro 5G will be available in gray and navy blue, for a price of 500 euros (around R$ 3365, without taxes or fees), the TCL 20L will cost 200 euros (equivalent to around R$ 1345 in direct conversion) and will come in black and blue.
