February 22, 2021

The leaker Evan Blass published today the first images of the new flagship Huawei Mate X2 on the Voice website, hours before its official launch. The foldable cell phone had gained a The official teaser revealing its main feature and, going against what was previously thought, showing that the device should fold inwards. In this official announcement, the Chinese manufacturer will show all the details, in addition to confirming these leaked photos.

The images show a smartphone with volume and power buttons on the sides, where it is also possible to notice what appears to be a fingerprint reader. On the back, we see that the set of four cameras is located in a rectangular boundary. In this space, the inscription of the German photographic lens brand Leica appears (possible partner?). We also see that, initially, the model should be launched in four colors: blue, white, black and pink (names yet to be defined).

Along with the photos, tipster Evan Blass also posted a video on his Twitter account that reveals how the Huawei Mate X2 works. In it, we see that the device resembles the way the Samsung Galazy Z Fold 2 works.
