A possible Motorola Edge 2 lineage may be on the way, continuing the Edge family, from the Motorola Edge Plus that illustrates our featured image and that was launched in last year. The smartphones have already received nicknames (or may end up adopting such names), being the Motorola Edge Sierra, the Motorola Edge Berlin, the Motorola Edge Berlin NA and the Motorola Edge Kyoto.

The leaker Evan Blass tweeted this information in response to a follower who asked him about news regarding any new Motorola phones for users in the United States. Reinforcing expectations regarding new Edge members, recently, camera features of the smartphone that bears the name of the Japanese city were analyzed by the folks at Technology News.
Cameras like the Moto G60
This more modest smartphone, according to information from the German website, will come with a 108 MP main camera, the same sensor as the Moto G60 (launched in Brazil today). The rear module will also be home to a second 8MP ultra-wide camera and a third 2MP depth camera. These specs are also the same as the other two rear cameras on the Moto G60. On the front, the Kyoto's selfie camera could have 16MP or 32MP.
If he does not adopt the name Kyoto, due to its apparent simplicity in comparison to the Edge family tradition, this member may be called Motorola Edge 2 Lite or something similar. The Berlin and Sierra models are likely to be the Motorola Edge 2 and Motorola Edge 2 Plus, with the Berlin NA being a slightly tweaked version of one of them for North America (NA).
In any case, what we have so far are just expectations of launches and some confirmations from informants who assure that all four phones are, in fact, under construction. Let's wait for more information, which could confirm Motorola's new product for 2021.
