To better compete with its competitors, the Telegram app has already released a series of updates during this year, including the voice chat support 2.0. Now, with the aim of providing more practicality and organization, in a new update, Telegram will also allow the scheduling of voice chats.
According to a report made by the TestingCatalog, in the beta version, the application has already made this feature available so that channel administrators can generate meetings for later or another date. This way, guests will receive a notification telling them the day and time of the chat, which will also show a countdown to the start of the call.

To access the voice chat scheduling features on Telegram, the user must have the app updated to version 7.7.0 (if available on the smartphone), then open a channel to manage (or access an existing one), click on the three dots in the settings menu and select “Start voice chat”. After that, the user must go to the “Schedule voice chat” option at the bottom and finally, choose the time and tap “Start”.
