Spiegel also highlights in the report the brand's efforts to popularize itself in other markets around the world where Android is relevant. Even with the numbers presented and the success on Android, Snapchat lost a good part of the social media market after its main functions (filters and self-destructing media) were incorporated into other platforms, mainly Instagram.
