After much leaking, the Galaxy S21 line will be officially presented to the world at an event scheduled for January 14th. This is what was already coming being considered throughout the last month of 2020. Leaker Ishan Agarwal published what would be the official invitation from Samsung in your Twitter account, informing that the brand's new line of flagships will be launched at 12 pm (Brasília time).
The invitation, according to Ishan, should be officially published by the manufacturer only next Wednesday (06/01), but it arrived in his hands first. The information posted by him on social media also shows teasers that Samsung will use to brighten up the launch event of the Galaxy S21 family on the 14th, Thursday of next week.
A short video, named A New Galaxy Awaits, was posted on Samsung's YouTube account in the US showing the evolution of the brand's models until reaching the S21. And anyone interested in pre-ordering the devices in the line will soon have the chance on the Amazon and Flipkart websites in India.
What we already know about the Galaxy S21 line
Even before the event takes place, there is a lot of information that is already public knowledge about the S21 and the other members of the series, S21+ and S21 Ultra. The rendered images indicate that the entry-level S21, more basic, should have 6,2 inches, while the S21+ will be slightly larger, at 6,7 inches. Both should have Infinity-O Full HD + Dynamic AMOLED displays, 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Galaxy S21 line is also expected to come equipped with a powerful rear camera system, consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture (periscope, with 10x zoom), and two other telephoto lenses, with 3x zoom each. The ultra version will have quad lenses, with the main one offering 108 megapixels.
One of the new features in the new rendered images – and which should be confirmed soon – is the availability of flagships in lilac color. Regarding the processor, the latest information before the launch event indicates that the Indian version of the S21 will be equipped with the Exynos 2100, while the US market should be supplied with flagships equipped with the Snapdragon 888.
The prices of the Galaxy S21 line also have already been released even before the launch event, by the same Ishan Agarwal. According to the leaker, the line will come with prices ranging from R$ 5.300 to R$ 8.720, without the addition of taxes and other import fees. Another piece of information already leaked, and which should be officially confirmed soon, is that Samsung followed in the footsteps of Apple and will also send the flagships to the market without accessories In the box.
