Realme GT offers Snapdragon 888 for less than R$2.300 abroad
After regional release, in China, the Realme GT had its price revealed for the global market. The manufacturer — which has presence in Brazil — has scheduled the official launch event for the flagship for today (15/06). With this, the smartphone, equipped with Snapdragon 888, will reach new markets, such as Europe.
With 5G connectivity, support for 65W fast charging (proprietary Superdart technology), and a 6,4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, the Realme GT is priced lower than flagships from other brands. It also comes with 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM, combined with 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.
As top-of-the-line models also need to draw attention to their cameras, the Realme GT offers a triple setup on the back, with 64 MP on the main sensor, and ultra-wide and macro lenses. The lower price compared to other competitors may have cost it a telephoto sensor. or periscopic, for optical zoom, something common in flagships.
Lower prices at launch
Moving on to what, for many, is most interesting, the Realme GT will arrive at a promotional price of EUR 369 (R$ 2.278 in direct conversion today, 15/06) for the 8 GB/128 GB model, with sales starting on 21/06 exclusively via AliExpress. The 12 GB/256 GB version will also be released, temporarily and exclusively on the 22nd, via Amazon, for EUR 499 (R$ 3.080).
After that, prices get a little steeper, with the models rising to EUR 449 (R$ 2.772) and EUR 599 (R$ 3.698) respectively. The models will be sold in blue, silver, and yellow. It is worth remembering, the Realme 7, 7 Pro, and 7 5G are now available in Brazil (and an entry-level model is approved), but the manufacturer has not yet brought a top of the line product to the local market.
