At the same event where he presented the Meizu 17 line and the new ones HD60 headphones, the Chinese company has launched a 10000 mAh power bank and a 27-watt wireless charger. Let's start with Meizu's new power bank, which has 22,5-watt fast charging.
It supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 standard and works with smartphones that support USB-C and micro USB ports. It also has a small screen that shows the battery level and charging speed. Meizu's power bank costs 169 Yuan, or about $137, but the company has not yet set a release date.
The wireless charger has a very minimalist circular design and has a fan for heat dissipation. The highlight is its wireless charging speed of 27 watts, the same as the Meizu 17 Pro.
Although it was clearly tailor-made for Meizu's top-of-the-line model, it will also work with other Qi-compatible smartphones and devices, but with 10-watt charging.
The charger costs the same 169 Yuan as the power bank, but anyone who buys it together with the Meizu 17 Pro will pay 129 Yuan, or R$104.
Just like the new smartphones, the power bank and the wireless charger are on pre-sale, with delivery scheduled for May 11th.
