It is common for products that are not major releases to end up leaking from Samsung itself before they are made official. This is exactly what happened with the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, which received a support page before the South Korean company announced the device, through a release, and most curiously, in several different countries.
The tablet already has a support page on the brand's websites in Belgium, Norway, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden and other countries. The pages identify the new tablet as SM-T225, but do not provide any specifications. In any case, the “Lite” suffix makes it clear that the tablet will be a (still) less powerful version of the Galaxy Tab A7, which is even now available in Brazil.
Rumors have been suggesting Tab A7 Lite settings, which would include 3 GB of RAM, the weak MediaTek Helio P22 processor, and a 5100 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. The screen size could be 8,4 inches. The presence of a biometric sensor or AKG sound system, as we saw in the Tab S6 and Tab S7 lines, is unlikely.
Android 11 and launch in Brazil
Without any special features, the device should have as one of its most notable features the presence of Android 11 out of the box. The more up-to-date it is, the further it will be in terms of updates, making it a more attractive option for consumers compared to the various other entry-level tablets that Samsung has already put on the market.
Finally, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is also expected to arrive in Brazil: Anatel already shows that both the Wi-Fi and LTE models are already appearing in the regulatory agency's systems. It is worth remembering that Samsung's latest news for Brazil included the launch of new smartphones from the A line, including a model with 5G.
