Motorola has already brought the new Moto G10, G30 e G100 for Brazil, and Anatel indicates that it is preparing to launch the G60 too. But before that, the manufacturer presented in Europe the Moto G20, its newest cell phone, which is between an entry-level and an intermediate product, with interesting specifications for the product family.
A leak already indicated what could we expect here. The cell phone even showed up on Geekbench which accurately anticipated its processor. With a 6,5-inch LCD screen and HD resolution, this panel delivers a 90Hz refresh rate just like the G30. In fact, the main difference between these two is the processor: while the smartphone available in Brazil has a Snapdragon 662, today's launch (26/04) comes with the Unisoc T700 chip.
Alongside this SoC, we have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, expandable with a microSD card. Regarding cameras, the experience includes a 48 MP main sensor and ultra-wide and macro lenses. There is also a depth sensor. Selfies are taken by the 13 megapixel front sensor. It is possible to record videos at 1080p at 30 frames per second, both on the rear and front.
Simple charging and Android 11
Common in non-flagship products, the 5.000 mAh battery supports 10W charging. The good news is that the device comes with Android 11 out of the box. However, the company's update policy is quite confusing. Some models don't even see a single OS update, receiving only security patches.
Other features of the launch include Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, Wi-Fi AC and USB-C 2.0 connection.
Available in pink and blue, the Moto G20 will go on sale next week in Europe. The suggested price is EUR 150 (R$ 958 in direct conversion today, 26/04). There are no signs yet of the model's launch in Brazil.
