Xiaomi's Mi Power Bank Hypersonic has 20.000 mAh and 50W charging
Xiaomi has today launched the Mi Power Bank Hypersonic in India, a 20.000 mAh power bank that allows you to charge multiple devices simultaneously, from smartphones to laptops. The Chinese company has put the accessory up for pre-order on a crowdfunding campaign which started this Friday (30/07) at the Xiaomi India store. There, the Mi Power Bank Hypersonic costs 3.499 rupees — the equivalent of around R$245 in direct conversion.
The Mi Power Bank Hypersonic has a compact format, but it is thicker than other chargers from the Chinese company, largely due to its huge 20.000 mAh capacity. With dimensions of 157,3 x 73,5 x 27,5 mm, the device offers fast charging of up to 50W for cell phones and 45W via USB Power Delivery for notebooks and has three outputs: two USB-A and one USB-C.
According to Xiaomi, with the Mi Hypersonic, the 4500 mAh battery in the Mi 11X Pro is fully charged in 65 minutes. As for notebooks, the company says that the Lenovo L480 takes 147 minutes to go from zero to 100%. To fully recharge, Xiaomi's power bank takes around 230 minutes, using a battery with the same compatibility.
Low power mode and good protection
Built in a minimalist, matte polycarbonate frame, the Mi Hypersonic also features a low-power mode for low-impedance devices such as Bluetooth headphones, fitness bands, and smartwatches. In terms of built-in protection, the 20.000 mAh power bank is resistant to overheating, overvoltage, shutdown, and short circuits.
Xiaomi will start shipping the Mi Power Bank Hypersonic in India from September 15th. It is worth remembering that, there, the company reached the milestone of one million Redmi power banks sold, a model that has become popular with local consumers due to its high capacity and modest price — the 10.000 mAh model costs R$54, while the 20.000 mAh model costs around R$96. In Brazil, Xiaomi's most advanced power bank, the 2C, with a capacity of 20.000 mAh, costs $ 150. In the wireless category, the 10.000 mAh portable charger costs R$300.
