Mi Mix 4 may have under-screen camera, top chipset and high price
While working on a future foldable smartphone, and which already tests the MIUI 13, updating its operating system, Xiaomi is also about to introduce its newest flagship to the market: Mi Mix 4. And a leak this Friday (18/06) gave an overview of what we can expect in the near future.
The main novelty, not yet officially confirmed by Xiaomi, should be the adoption of a under screen camera. The technology would already be ready to be implemented, and it would only not be defined because it would directly interfere with the final resolution of the screen.
Under-screen camera technology hasn't taken off yet. ZTE's Axon 20 5G smartphone was the first on the market with the feature, which in this case disappointed due to its low quality and for presenting unintelligent solutions to hide the camera.
If the under-screen camera technology for selfies is actually adopted in the Mi Mix 4, the resolution would then be lower than 2K, found in other Xiaomi models. The manufacturer would, however, maintain a higher standard than that available in smartphones with FHD.
Inside the Mi Mix 4
If the design of the future flagship must be innovative, inside the specifications are considered top of the line. Xiaomi's idea is to equip the Mi Mix 4 with Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 chipset under the hood.
The speculated battery is 4500 mAh, which would come accompanied by a 120W fast charge. The alleged 200W charge, which is also being worked on by the Chinese manufacturer, could also be implemented in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, but, for now, nothing official has been said about it.
The price of the future flagship, by the way, has also been considered. And it is steep. According to the most recent leak, it will be higher than that of the My 11 Ultra. For those who don't remember, it was launched for 69.999 rupees in India (equivalent to R$4.736, in direct conversion).
The Mi Mix 4 was officially announced 2 months ago by Lei Jun himself (CEO of Xiaomi), in an online event. Jun did not comment on any details about the product, he only said that the company was working on its development.
