Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra or My 11 Pro Plus. One of these two names will be adopted to name the flagship that the Chinese manufacturer would be preparing to launch on the market in the first quarter of 2021. This is what was leaked Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
According to the leaker, the screen will be Quad HD+, curved at all four corners, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a selfie camera housed in a central hole. One of the biggest new features, however, would be 67W wireless charging, offered to increase the speed at which the “much larger” battery (possibly 5000 mAh) could be fully charged. It would replace the 80W fast charger that Xiaomi is also working on, and would fully charge the flagship in just 19 minutes.
What else is known?
According to what has come out, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, or Pro Plus, would be superior to the Mi 11 Pro, which will have as its main highlight the periscope camera, as shown in the image leaked on Weibo last week. The screen size will be over 6 inches, but the leaker has not confirmed exactly when, and is still looking for confirmation.
The Mi 11 Ultra's hardware package will offer consumers configurations very similar to the regular version of the flagship, which comes breaking sales records in China since its launch. It includes the Snapdragon 888 processor, the Android 11 operating system and the MIUI 12.5 interface, which will not be made available to older Xiaomi models.
Although there is no information yet about the date when the Mi 11 Ultra will be confirmed by Xiaomi, the expectation is that news will emerge after February 12, when the Chinese New Year begins. The brand is also about to announce when the Mi 11 Lite, a more affordable version of the flagship, will finally hit the market.
