The newest ROG Phone 5 Asus gaming smartphone, may be on its way to Brazil. The manufacturer has already brought it, in other occasions, the Republic of Gamers line of cell phones, and it seems that it should repeat the bet in 2021.
The cell phone recently received tax benefits from the Computer Law (Law 8.248/91) to be produced or at least assembled in Brazil. According to the document obtained, the approval was given on March 18th of this year. The serial number, ZS673KS, makes it clear that we are talking about Asus' flagship gamer.
Even so, the RoG Phone 5 is already showing signs of life on Anatel's homologation portal. There is no documentation released there yet, but its appearance in the system indicates that there is at least a request from the manufacturer.
Gamer phone with Snapdragon 888
Recently shattered into a extreme endurance test, the ROG Phone 5 may soon arrive in Brazil and position itself as one of the best products in this segment in terms of hardware. Historically, no gaming phone has arrived in the country with an attractive price. Over time, some discounts appear, but these are certainly not devices that stand out for their cost-benefit.
With the powerful Snapdragon 888, the ROG Phone 5 has options of 8, 12 and 16 GB of RAM, and storage options of 128 and 256 GB. Equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, the device can be recharged at 65W. There is a cooling system called AeroActive Cooler 5 by the company.
In addition, the gaming smartphone offers a triple camera with a 64 MP main sensor capable of recording 8K videos, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 MP macro, and a 24 megapixel front lens. All this on a 6,78-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
The 8 GB and 128 GB models have a starting price of 800 Euros (R$5.334 in direct conversion today, 25/03). If you are interested in purchasing the RoG Phone 5 in Brazil, it is a good idea to save up now until it is officialized.
