Leaker says OnePlus Nord SE has been canceled by the brand
Worked under the codename Ebba, and designed to hit the market Between March and April of this year, the OnePlus Nord SE was apparently canceled. The information comes from the leaker Max Jambor, from Voice. According to him, sources linked to the company did not give an exact reason for the withdrawal, but reported that the special edition, worked together with artist Joshua Vides, should also not be released.
The only leaked image of the project was not even of the smartphone, but rather of the alleged packaging that would be being worked on to house the OnePlus Nord SE Joshua Vides, now also canceled by the manufacturer. The previous idea, however, was that the version would offer a glass panel on the back, custom wallpapers and settings from the original OnePlus Nord.

According to Max Jambor, the idea of using the Nord SE name in a future launch has not been ruled out by OnePlus, but it would have nothing to do with the smartphone that was being planned to hit the market this March, but which ended up being canceled. This idea, however, lacks greater maturity on the part of the manufacturer.
What is practically ripe, so to speak, is the OnePlus Nord 2, expected to hit the shelves of the Asian market. in the second trimester this year. He would have the MediaTek's high-end chipset under the hood – Dimensity 1200 -, with support for 5G technology, in addition to a design inspired by the recent flagship launched by the brand, the OnePlus 9.
OnePlus' mid-range smartphone would arrive to compete with phones in the range Samsung Galaxy A52 and Google Pixel 5a, which is also about to be launched – will be officially announced on June 11, with prices between US$ 300 and US$ 400 (R$ 1.692 and R$ 2.257, in direct conversion. It remains to be seen whether the manufacturer will not give up and cancel this project also halfway through.
