Huawei Mate X2 is certified, but without specifications

Huawei is preparing to soon launch its newest foldable smartphone, the Mate X2. The phone has been certified by TENAA (a Chinese organization that performs a function similar to Anatel), and although its specifications have not yet been released, this indicates that the launch should be close. It is worth remembering that, in addition to the Mate X, the company also launched the Mate Xs 5G in some markets.

Speculations about the Mate X2

Regarding the Mate X2, it had already been certified by 3C, also in China, which revealed that it will have a battery charging speed of 66W. In addition, the agency indicated that it will have 5G connectivity, but this was already expected. There is a lot of speculation about the Mate X2, which should have a Kirin 990 processor.

According to rumors, it would be different from the original model, as it would have a smaller external screen and an internal foldable screen, like the Galaxy Z Fold 2 from rival Samsung. The external screen would be 6,7 inches, and a front camera in a cutout. The larger screen would be 8,3 inches, the size of a tablet, and would have a 120Hz refresh rate.

Now that the Mate X2 has been certified, it shouldn't be long before it's released.

Huawei CDL-AN50

In addition, another smartphone from TENAA has also been certified, the Huawei CDL-AN50, but we already have some information about it. It is also a 5G cell phone, and according to the information, it will have a 6,5-inch screen and a 3900 mAh battery.

Both it and the Mate X2 are expected to run Android 10 with Huawei's EMUI 11 interface. Like the company's other devices, both will launch without Google's mobile apps and services.
