After launching the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro, Honor is preparing to introduce another smartphone in the Play line, the Honor Play 4 Pro. The product director of the line released today on Weibo some information about the technical specifications of the Honor Play 4 Pro, which should be launched soon.

According to him, the smartphone will feature the Kirin 990 processor. A few days ago, speculation was that it would have a Kirin 820 processor, so the confirmation of the Kirin 990 is great news.

The battery should have 40-watt fast charging. In addition, he also said that the Honor Play 4 Pro will have an infrared transmitter, and thus it will be able to function as a TV remote control.

The official images were released by the Chinese website Vmall, which listed the Play 4 Pro without revealing its technical specifications or how much it will cost. The photos show the smartphone in two colors, black and blue mecha, which has a texture with a very gamer look.

The Play 4 Pro will have a dual front camera that is located in a horizontal cutout, which is clear in the images. The fingerprint reader is located in a button on the side of the smartphone.

The 40-megapixel camera should have the Sony IMX600y sensor with RYYB filter, the same as the Honor X10, which was released last week. No details have yet been released about the other camera we can see in the images.
